Last updated: June 2026. Plain limits and clarifications about what FloatPaid is and isn't.
FloatPaid is a budgeting and spend-control layer on top of a virtual card. It helps travelers set spending limits that fit the city they're assigned to. It automates the mechanical work of re-budgeting each time an assignment changes.
FloatPaid is not a bank, not a financial advisor, and not a substitute for professional financial judgment. Card and banking services are provided by regulated partners. Nothing here is personalized investment, tax, or financial advice.
Cost-of-living data is approximate and changes over time. The limits FloatPaid suggests are a starting point calibrated from that data — they may be higher or lower than what your specific situation needs. Always review and adjust them against your own circumstances.
FloatPaid can propose caps and split envelopes, but the spending is yours. The tool doesn't guarantee you'll stay within budget, cover every expense, or avoid shortfalls. Treat it as an aid, not a safety net.
FloatPaid is in private beta. Beta software may contain bugs, experience downtime, or change without notice. Features available today may be modified, replaced, or removed. We make no guarantee about the availability or continuity of any specific feature during the beta.
Calibration depends on the assignment details you provide. Incorrect city or date information will produce limits tuned to the wrong place. Keep your postings accurate for the card to work as intended.
Nothing on this platform is professional financial, tax, legal, or immigration advice. For decisions about contracts, taxes, or relocation, consult a qualified professional.
