Last updated: June 2026. Using FloatPaid means you agree to these terms. Please read them.
By accessing or using FloatPaid (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These terms apply to everyone — beta participants, account holders, and visitors.
FloatPaid is a virtual card platform that adjusts spending limits to a traveler's assignment city. It includes assignment sync, limit calibration, stipend envelopes, card issuance, and spend controls. The Service is in private beta and provided free of charge to travelers during that period.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Creating an account requires a valid email and accurate information about your travel role and assignment. You're responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us at jian@floatpaid.xyz if you suspect unauthorized access.
Use FloatPaid only for lawful personal financial purposes. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, use it to launder funds or evade financial regulations, scrape it with automated tools, resell access, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.
The spending limits FloatPaid calculates are estimates based on cost-of-living data, tuned to help you budget. They are not financial advice and not a guarantee that a given amount is sufficient or safe for your circumstances. You set your own final limits and remain responsible for your spending.
Cards are issued and funds are held through regulated financial partners, whose own terms apply alongside these and are provided at onboarding. FloatPaid is a technology layer over those services; it is not itself a bank.
The FloatPaid platform — its design, code, calibration logic, and branding — belongs to FloatPaid. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform. Your right to use the Service grants no ownership of it.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that limit calculations will fit every situation. Beta features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FloatPaid is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid for the Service — which, during the beta, is zero.
You may stop using the Service anytime and close your account by emailing jian@floatpaid.xyz. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue it. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we handle any remaining funds per our partners' processes.
We may modify these terms. Material changes are emailed to registered users and posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, your remedy is to stop using the Service and close your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FloatPaid operates. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and failing that, resolved under applicable arbitration rules.
